This program accepts Goldens and high percentage Golden mixes.
This program accepts dogs from shelters, owner turn-ins, breeders, vets and other sources.
This program requires a non-refundable application fee
Primarily adopts dogs with a 100 mile radius of Atlanta and places dogs out-of-state to previous GRRA adopters
Requires a dog be returned if the owner cannot keep it
Takes ownership of a dog upon intake
Requires a home visit before adoption approval
Follows up with adopters after placement
Dogs are observed and evaluated before adoption
All dogs receive all vaccines (Rabies, DHLPP and any other regionally appropriate tests) before adoption
All dogs have all tests (heartworm, fecal and other regionally appropriate tests) before adoption.
All dogs are altered (spayed or neutered) before adoption.
Does not accept dogs with a history of unprovoked biting of humans.
