This year's national specialty rescue parade was lovely to watch. There were few dry eyes as 49 rescue dogs and their humans made their walk around the main ring at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Warwick, Rhode Island on September 24th, 2008.

Rescuers from all over the country were represented as each dog and handler team received a ribbon and a goodie bag and tons of applause from a well-attended event.
